Who We Are
In 1989, a group of school and community volunteers created the Princeton Scholarship Foundation. The purpose of the foundation was to establish a base to provide financial support for students beyond their high school education. The project was in its early stages when, for a variety of reason, the committee discontinued it activity for a time. Several thousand dollars had been raised and was held in the appropriate account for the organization.
In 1995, the Foundation was revived by community members and a $21,209 donation from the 1995 All-Class Reunion. The Princeton Scholarship Foundation became affiliated with the national Dollars for Scholars organization and with their support, the Foundation was re-established.
Through fund raising and the establishment of endowed scholarships, Princeton Scholarship Foundation has continued to grow. Forty-five scholarships amounting to $20,000 from the Foundation and 13 scholarships amounting to $8,000 from our endowed scholarships were presented at the awards night on May 16, 2012.
The mission of the Princeton Scholarship Foundation is to offer scholarship opportunities to Princeton High School graduating seniors who demonstrate the desire and academic ability to succeed in pursuing a post-secondary education.

Thank you for the scholarship from the Princeton Scholarship Foundation. This scholarship is greatly appreciated because it helps me achieve my education and academic goals. My college education could not have been easy to achieve without your support. Knowing that my local community supports me, I will in return, support my local community by giving back in the future.
